Dear P2 Parents/Guardian,
Nanyang Glitters 2009
Nanyang Glitters, our very own in-house production by our
talented pupils, will be showcased this Saturday, 5 September.
In order to accommodate a bigger audience, two shows have
been planned. The details of the concert are as follows:
Date: 5 September 2009 (Saturday)
Time: Matinee: 3.30pm - 5pm
Evening: 7.30pm - 9pm
Venue: Nanyang Girls' High School (Siew May Auditorium)
We would like you to take note of the following information:
Pupils' reporting time
All pupils are required to report to NYGH Siew May Auditorium
at 12pm sharp. Teachers and parent volunteers will be present
to welcome them.
At 12.30pm, teachers will take the pupils to their respective holding
areas. Please refer to annex A for the holding areas of the respective
classes and performing groups.
Things to bring/prepare
Pupils are requested to come in basic makeup, i.e. blusher and
lipstick. We have a group of teachers and parents to help pupils
touch up before the performance.
Pupils are also required to come in their full costumes and a small
bag with water bottle and snacks.
Parking concerns
Do note that parking at NYGH is on a first-come-first served basis.
The driveway parking in front of the auditorium is reserved for the
GOH and VIPs. You can park in the basement car-park where some
lots will be reserved for VIPs. Once the basement car park is full, you
will be directed to park along the driveway in front of their administrative
block. You may also park on one side of Linden Drive outside NYGH.
Alternatively, you can also park inside NYGH Boarding School which is
directly opposite NYGH.
Fetching pupils home
All pupils are required to perform for the two shows. Please note that
pupils are NOT allowed to leave their holding areas or NYGH in between
the Matinee and Evening shows. We seek your kind understanding in this
matter. Do rest assured that food and drinks will be provided for the pupils
at all times. We also have a group of experienced form teachers and parent
volunteers who will take good care of their well being.
After the evening show, please proceed to NYGH canteen to fetch your
child home. Please refer to annex A for the location of NYGH canteen.
